Options in Language Skills (Translator Skills Page)
June 11, 2009 2:52 am User/Translator ProfileThis is one of the most frequently asked question. I get emails by colleagues who are not able to select all of their language pairs. Why is that?
Right now, I hope for a very short period only, we only offer translations in the following language combinations to our customers:
• English to German
• English to French
• English to Italian
• English to Portuguese
• English to Spanish
• German to English
• French to English
• Italian to English
• Portuguese to English
• Spanish to English
That’s why you cannot update your additional language pairs with a combination like e.g. Spanish to German.
I hope we will be able to widen our offering soon, so your full potential can get through. We will have a very close eye on what additional languages our customers demand and, if our translator team is strong enough for this particular language pair, we will certainly add it.

Thank you Ursulua,
I tried to register as French-English translator as an additional pair I work with but I was not able to do so even if they are included as part of the pairs we’ll be working with.

Hi Ursula,
I was also wondering what was going on with the language pairs, but from this post and the one you’ve answer to another translator, I believe all is clear now.
Looking forward to an increase on the language combination offers as I see most of us here have more than one pair.
