Translator of the Week
December 7, 2009 2:38 am Translator of the WeekHi all,
my second computer is still busy with sending the emails, crashing the computer every 15 minutes.
So I would like to use this opportunity to start a new category:
Translator of the Week.
There are always great translations done by you, and there are more colleagues I actually can mention, but once a week I would like to say a personal thanks to one of you. So this one goes to:
Vrinda, K. from Mumbai
Vrinda did an outstanding translation of poems of Eduard Mörike (1804 – 1875) from German to English!
I closely monitored her work on this challenging task - and she translated the eight poems with such charm! Well done.

Hi Ursula,
thanks a ton for your appreciation. Maybe I could have done it better than the final version sent to you, had I got more time to match the rhymes. Looking forward to wrok with you always. And literary work is always welcome.
