Babylon Human Translation
Dear team members,
For the time being these pages will serve as our communication center. I see it as a high priority that we grow together as a group and I am convinced that there is a lot we can learn from each other. I also would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone sending me emails with suggestions and feedback. I hope to see this kind of motivation also in your forthcoming comments on these pages.
Beside being a basic discussion forum, I will place here information to keep you up-to-date. So please come by frequently.
So far I opened the following sub-pages:
- LingoZ is live - What to do now?
Short check list for you to get ready. - What’s new?
Updating you on new developments. - Comments and Feedback
Let your voice being heard - we are carefully listening. - Email and Update Archive
Intends to facilitate translators who sent their application only lately to pick up the full picture.
With all my love and appreciation,
Ursula Ron

I am looking forward to begin working with this team.
As a Babylon user for several years (I was also a Beta tester), it is great to have now the opportunity of being part of the team.
And thank you so much for your kind assistance, Ursula.

To my fellow translators,
Today I have been offered a translation job via e-mail. It was indicated with German as source- and English as target language. Since this is not my direction of translation as a native German I had almost ignored it. Although it had aready been canceled when I reached my translation platform within LingoZ shortly afterwards it actually was a translation offer from English into German! This of course can easily happen but should not happen to often.
With kind regards,
Erich
