I was reading the different posts, which were very interesting by the way, and then I checked the project 41 that I translated. It stated word count:287 but after analyzing it in Trados I got 357.
Some suggestions:
1.- It would be great to give the chance to clients to deliver their files in Word and be able to deliver the transaltion in Word too. Manly to respect formats (placeables).
2.- Clients might have some comments or remarks to make about what they expect. It would be useful to include a box for them to leave their comments.
3.- Some clients have TMs (translation memories for CAT tools) that can be very useful in large project to keep consistency. I think a box should be available in case they want to include a TM.
I think that’s all, I’m very happy to be part of this team.

I don’t know about other languages, but the Polish texts I’ve seen submitted for translation so far are short, semi-literate chats (like in a chat room), with no instructions, no client details and they seem like a joke. Any comments?
